Additionally, be careful about choosing names that actually combine to make something funny. For example, if your last name is Box you do not want to call your son Jack.   

When looking for unusual names why not think about honoring a family member or paying tribute to a literary or historical character that you have loved for many years. However, do not feel forced to use every family name. Take the time to carry on the ones that you really like. Additionally, you will want to be careful about picking names that are too popular.

If you choose the name Miley for a little girl, in honor of Miley Cyrus, you can be sure that as she grows up she'll be surrounded by little girls with the same first name. Instead, look toward the past a bit for some names that retain their beauty, but may have been forgotten.
