Bath Baby

Bath Baby - Technology has changed the chore of bathing into something fun and far less cumbersome. Who would have thought bathing could be so much fun! Today bathing is about bonding, enjoyment and learning, as well as having a clean baby.

In the early stages, newborns generally do not require too much at bath time, just a simple quick sponge bath and that’s it. After a few months, when they begin to gain their head control and they can sit up, baths become so much more fun. It’s not just about having a wash it’s also about playing, developing and learning, when you bath baby! There are so many bath accessories and toys on the market today that are fun for both parents and baby.

In relation to the bath themselves, they have certainly come a long way too. Such as the plastic baths that come with a change table, which means you can bath standing rather than bending over. The baths themselves are form-fitted and are tilted to make it easier to keep bubs upper body propped up. They are fitted with a drainage tube so water can be emptied out easier and best of all they are portable and can be moved around easily when you bath baby.

Another popular one is the “Tub baths” which are just like a large plastic bucket with a seat. They allow the baby to sit up to have a bath and will not overbalance. They're the ultimate in safety and convenience. The seats that sit in the tub come in lots of different shapes and sizes. If you need, you can also get inserts that make the bath just the right size, another benefit of technology!

Bath screens or gates are another idea. They provide convenience and security as you don’t need to worry about the toddler touching the hot spout or changing and fiddling with the tap controls. They simply fit into the bath, dividing it and keeping your baby away from the controls.

When you bath baby it is all about hygiene, it’s also about toys! There are never enough places to put them, even in a standard adult bath tub. They either get knocked over, or if you leave them on the floor they will leak everywhere and you end up tripping over them, but there are solutions.

A net bag that suctions onto the bath, you can place the toys in there and let them drip dry. A plastic basket is another idea, you can sit it on the end of the bath or even in the bath, it keeps all the toys together and keeps them neat and tidy. A shelf or holder close bye is also handy to store all the other essential little things required, it is convenient for when you bath baby. Some of the items you could store are the baby oil, skin treatments, cotton balls and fingernail clippers.

When the toys are in use, your baby is learning to use their muscles and their minds. They love to splash and explore, it’s a whole new experience full of wonder. That’s why they need lots of different toys. You could stop at the traditional rubber ducky. However, there's so many other toys that can amuse and entertain the baby, toy boats, waterproof books, bath mitts the list is endless, yet so beneficial for our baby.

Development and a clean baby can all happen when you bath baby. With lots of interesting things, bathing is then something to look forward to, lots more laughing and far less crying... what parent wouldn’t agree with that?
